Amber optics swept over the blooming flowers, and a soft smile came to the pale red lips. Approaching a bush of roses, a girl knelt slightly and reached out to touch one that was already opened. Long platinum blonde hair fell past her shoulders, splayed out like two dimensional digits over half of the walkway. The hems of a black dress brushed against the ground, slender legs and black Mary Jane platforms peeking out from underneath.
A look of child-like delight passed across Freya's face as she traced the edges of the flower's petals, admiring the soft texture as the pad of her fingertip brushed against it.

Carrying lilacs in his hand, which gave off such a sweet and soft smell, Vance was passing by this area in search of more flowers. His quiet normal somber expression gave way to a serene sense of comforting being in here in all this quiet peaceful beauty. Vance did not have his yari with him or his normal outfit. His jeans baggy and were mere inches to being hazardous to his walking were torn slightly at the knees from years of use. He was in rush that morning so his did quite button up all the way, his white short sleeve shirt, leaving the top button opened, exposing a silver necklace that hung gracefully around his neck.
He was in content contemplation of the world as he stood there just observing the flowers quietly, until he noticed a girl approaching. Taking a second to note her dress and her shiny blond hair he stood up to greet her. She was quite pretty, however Vance quickly shoved that thought out of his mind, for he didn’t want to love or be loved, he did not deserve it. His tone was questioning at first but soon became a warm friendly greeting, “Umm... hello there, I almost didn’t see you..”<br>

Freya looked up at the voice, a bit startled for she had not noticed anyone else around the premises. Amber optics swept briefly over the young man's form, and she smiled softly at his greeting.
Getting to her feet, she grasped the hems of her dress and dipped into a graceful curtsy, her head bowed slightly to him. "I am called Freya," she said quietly. "And who might you be?" Her gaze rose to fix upon his as she straightened, her hands dropping to her sides.

Vance couldn't help, but return her with a warm smile, "It is a pleasure to meet you Freya, I am Vance" he walked over to her, careful not to step on any of the flowers here. He sense that she was not human, but wasn't quite sure; he held out his hand to her to shake.

Freya stared at his outstretched hand for several moments, unsure of what to do...was she supposed to hand something over? Her memory then snapped; she lightly grasped his hand. "It's nice to meet you as well, Vance," she said quietly.
Looking up, she smiled as several butterflies seemed to come from nowhere; with a hand, she reached up to let one of silver and white wings land upon her index finger. "Nice day for a walk, don't you think?"

On her walk with Menchi, she happened to encounter visitors.
"Oh, hello, I thought I was the only one here. Hope I'm not intruding."
She gave a nod like bow to Vance. "Vance wasn't it? And I'm not sure I've met you before. My name's Ivy."
She extended her hand.

Excitedly, Menchi ran to the crowd. He had chased more interesting critters in the garden, and was now longing to be petted. He looked up at the lillacs Vance was holding and wagged his tail.

Vance smiled and nodded in Ivy direction acknowledging her before looking at the cute dog that walked up. He kneel down and petted Menchi, with his free hand. “Well aren’t you a cute one..?”

Menchi wagged his tail and whined excitedly. His hands still smelled faintly of the lillacs, so he recognized him as someone nice.

Freya smiled and curtsied once more. "Nice to meet you, Ivy. I am called Freya." She reached out and lightly grasped the woman's hand.
Upon seeing the dog, she cast a smile to it, then turned her attention back to the young woman. "Is this dog yours?" she asked, her head tilted slightly to one side.
